Migration of my RSS feed to google

I have been using Feedburner to manage my RSS feeds for quite a while and they were taken over by google a while back. Until recently this had no effect at all but I was recently told that I had to migrate my feedburner account over to the google platform.

The process was completely automatic but according to my subscriber statistics I may have lost some of you. Looking around the web I see that a lot of people are having similar problems.

The feed seems to be working OK but if any of you are having problems then please try to re-subscribe. Sorry for any problems this may have caused.

Update (28th Jan 2009): My subscriber numbers are now back where I expected them to be and all is well with the new google version of feedburner.

    I looked at Feedburner last night and something on their FAQ list said that there may be a dip in statistics and that it may take a week after your migration for the stats to catch up. So it’s possible you haven’t lost any readers, but your Feedburner stats are underestimated.

    I just checked my Feedburner stats. After a sudden dip over the weekend, I now have more subscribers than ever. I imagine that’s a Feedburner issue and not real data. I suppose my account has been migrated. However, I haven’t gotten any notification saying I’d been migrated. I’d never have known about the migration if I hadn’t happened to check Feedburner.

    (I don’t check Feedburner often. Most of its features don’t work any more. It broke months ago when I upgraded my version of WordPress and installed a new theme. I think I read Feedburner doesn’t work with the latest versions of WordPress.)

    Maybe you’ll get a record number of subscribers once the dust settles!

    The numbers have always seemed sensible on my feedburner account. I hope it doesn’t suddenly go crazy as I would like to rely on the numbers.

    The same thing happened to us, but we have yet to see the numbers on feedburner come back to “normal”. Hopefully it is fixed soon.
